What are Goji Berries?
The Goji Berry is the queen of all the berries. The Goji berry is both a fruit and a herb, because it contains a wide range of compounds. It is also very delicious!
The flavor can best be described as a combination of cherries & cranberries. The size is similar as raisins and they are small and bright red-orange.
Is your goji organic certified?
Yes! We are certified by SKAL and the Goji berries we use originate from China. There is no need to use any pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and other harmful chemicals since they are grown in naturally fertile soils, we do not need to use any artificial fertilizers on it. Our Goji berry is organically certified by SKAL Biocontrole and is therefore EU organic certified.
How are your Goji berries made?
Our berries grow in China. Where all the conditions for optimum growth are ideal. Ripe Goji’s are very fragile and sometimes the berries lose their quality, because of improper handling. We prefer to save the quality of the goji berries by proper handling, so all of our berries are hand picked to avoid damaging the fruit. After picking the berries they get carefully cleaned and dried naturally under the sun until they get the common red, dried raisin look. Our Goji berries have a shelf life of 18 months from date of production.
