The raw cacao powder is made from the cacao beans, but only the remaining part, because the fatty part of the beans is used to make the cacao butter. Cacao powder and raw cacao powder are very different from each other because the normal cacao powder gets heated which makes a lot of nutrients disappear and with raw cacao powder, this is not done so it has kept all of its nutrients.

Yes! We are certified by SKAL and the Cacao we use for our Cacao Powder comes from Peru, Ecuador or the Dominican Republic. The processing takes place in The Netherlands. There is no need to use any pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and other harmful chemicals since they are grown in naturally fertile soils, we do not need to use any artificial fertilizers on it. Our Cacao is organically certified by SKAL Biocontrol and is, therefore, EU organic certified.

How is your Cacao made?

Our raw cacao powder comes from South America. Where our cacao tree grows. When the fruits are harvested, we separate the cacao butter from the beans. The remaining cacao pieces we use to make our powder. These pieces are broken and sifted to make one of the best raw organic cacao powder. Our raw organic cacao powder is very healthy and can be used for many recipes.
