This should not be a surprise, because cacao nibs are delicious with a unique texture which is both crisp yet tender. The cacao nibs are used as extras to recipes and products to bring in an intense chocolate taste which might be bitter but good for your health.
Cacao Nibs can be eaten as a snack, right out of the bag! But of course, you can also add them to your trail mix, smoothies and breakfast. Not to mention how much of a great addition it would be to your baked goods such as muffins.
What are Cacao Nibs?
A lot of people do not know what cacao nibs really are and where they come from. Cacao nibs are made from the raw cacao beans, these raw beans are dried and then chopped into pieces without adding any fat or sugar. The cacao beans have a bitter taste which is kind of similar to coffee beans.
Is your Cacao organic certified?
Yes! We are certified by SKAL and the Cacao we use for our Cacao Nibs comes from South America. There is no need to use any pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and other harmful chemicals since they are grown in naturally fertile soils, we do not need to use any artificial fertilizers on it. Our Cacao is organically certified by SKAL Biocontrol and is, therefore, EU organic certified.
How is your Cacao made?
In the world, there are many different cacao nibs, but not all of them are made from raw cacao beans. Some of the beans were grown with pesticides to ensure the safety of the crops. At Nutriboost we do not use pesticides or chemicals, so our cacao nibs are from raw cacao beans which have been extracted from cacao fruits that were grown organically. We have three different kinds of cacao to provide our customer with the different flavours offered by these cacao varieties: Criollo Cacao, Ecuadorian Cacao and Peruvian Cacao. Our cacao nibs are without any peels.
