Product Description
Pumpkin has edible seeds that are also called pepita de calabaza. They are graded as A or AA and grow without their shell. This also explains their abbreviation “GWS” which means; grown without shell. You should know that there are two varieties of pumpkin seeds. They can be either grown without skin or shine variety. When you compare them both, the colour of the shine variety is slightly lighter. We have certified organic farms where we grow our organic pumpkin seeds. We do not use any insecticides or fungicides or any artificial fertiliser. That’s why it is beneficial for everyone, such as the animals, people who use the products, and microorganisms in the fields. Animal feed is also made from the pumpkin meat that is unusable for products and is residue from oil pressing. In the USA, the flesh of the fruit is used as a staple food which is processed and preserved. Pumpkins need one year for perfect cultivation. Usually, the stem of the plant grows on the ground, but if you tie it up, it can also climb. It has moderate branches and long stems. Flowers start to appear on the leaf axils after a few weeks of seeding.
